SNOW!
March 1, 2008
On Thursday, I joined my friends Jane and Chris for a mini road trip up to Flagstaff, Arizona to shoot an event for United Blood Services. The drive from Scottsdale to Flagstaff is only about 2-2 1/2 hours, but none the less, it felt like a road trip. To our surprise, there was actually snow on the ground for a good portion of the drive! Apparently, there were several snow storms in the area last week, but it seemed really strange to still see snow on the ground because it wasn’t that cold out. I’ll post some photos from the actual event later, but I just have to share some fun shots from the drive up.
I was wearing a short sleeve shirt and looking out the window at this! Crazy!
Apparently, Chris didn’t find the snow quite as exciting as Jane and I did. (He’ll be so thrilled I posted this.)
Just pulling into Flagstaff . . .
We had to grab lunch before getting ready for the event so there wasn’t much time for sight seeing. I did grab this fun shot of a cool old building we passed on the way to the hotel.
Stay tuned for more pictures from the event!
