Ally & Matt’s Wedding: Val Vista Lakes

On Tuesday, we headed out to Val Vista Lakes for Ally & Matt’s wedding. We’ve been looking forward to their wedding for a while. Ally has been a good friend since we were all a part of the same youth group back in high school. She was even a bridesmaid in our wedding back in the day! One of the things we’ve always loved about Ally is that she’s so full of life and has so much love for everyone around her. We were so happy when Matt & Ally asked us to shoot their wedding. They have such a sweet and genuine love for each other. And it was so much fun to see our friend marry the man of her dreams :-) Matt, you’re a lucky guy and we’re so glad that God has brought the two of you together. Ally’s dress had tons of gorgeous details. As you know, we love when our brides incorporate color and I especially loved the red lacing on her dress.

Ally & Matt decided to see each other before the ceremony and their first look was so sweet! Always so much fun to be a part of this moment, but it’s even better when it’s with friends :-)

It’s been raining quite a bit this past week and in fact, it rained through Matt & Ally’s entire rehearsal so everyone was looking up all day, hoping the weather would last. And were we ever blessed with some gorgeous skies!
A few times during the long morning of preparation, Ally could be found relaxing in this window sill. Sure enough, just before the ceremony, she was back at her perch watching from above as the guests were arriving. Love how this one turned out . . .

We took this shot of the new Mr. & Mrs. Nyberg just after the ceremony – I think it may be my favorite of the whole day. So in love :-)

Denise and Ryan, these pictures are amazing! You guys are so talented; I’m just glad we caught you before you became big photography stars, and we could still afford you. :) I LOVE the last pic in the slideshow, so cute!
