What was that?  You want to see more photos of the adorable Vanessa & TJ?  Well okay then.  Here you go!  These two lovebirds tied the knot at the Mesa LDS Temple the day after we shot their bridal session.  Right around noon, they emerged as the newly minted Mr. & Mrs. Stone to the happy cheers of family and friends waiting outside.  Yay!!!

(Please sign the guestbook if you’d like to be notifed when the rest of their photos are online.)

Once all the formalities were through, we snuck them away for a few portraits around the temple.

I probably don’t say it enough, but I love shooting with my hubby :-)  It’s so cool that when you work with us you get two creative minds behind the camera.  We each have a unique take on things so you get twice the amount of awesomeness in any given photo opportunity.

Here’s what Ryan was shooting . . .

And of course, we just had to show off Vanessa’s handy work for their ring shot.

Later that day, we headed out to their church in Glendale for the reception.  Tracie of “We Do! We Do!” Weddings and Events did an amazing job with the decor.

I especially loved the ceiling.  The lights made for a great backdrop for this cake shot.

On Sunday, we met up with Carrie and her daughter Lindsay at Mesa Center for the Arts for some family photos.  Carrie & I worked together a long, long time ago, so it was so much fun to catch up with her.  And the last time I saw Lindsay, she was just a kid.  Now she’s a gorgeous (almost 17-year-old) woman!  It was so much fun observing their relationship during their time together.  You can tell just by looking at them that they’re much more than mother and daughter . . . their also best friends :-)  It’s all very “Gilmore Girls” if you ask me.  Ha ha ha!

(Please sign the guestbook if you’d like to be notifed when the rest of their photos are online.)

Here are some of our favorites from their session.

We discovered right away that making these two laugh was going to be pretty easy :-)

They joked with us about how people always think they’re sad or mad when they’re not smiling because they both tend to stand with their arms crossed.  Of course, we had to test the theory.  Not quite as easy to be serious when you’ve got two cameras pointed at you, huh?

Carrie said that the last time they had photos taken Lindsay was about 10 and this was their favorite pose.  You’re never too grown up for a piggy back ride, right?

So at the end of our session, we attempted to do one of our notorious jumping shots, but we quickly discovered that there was going to be a little wardrobe issue.  Every time they jumped the neck of their sweaters would fly up and totally cover their faces.  So we went with this instead.  Love it!

Thanks for the fun session you guys!  And happy almost birthday Lindsay :-)

Last Saturday we headed out to Christ The King Catholic Church in Mesa, Arizona for the wedding of Jessica & Terence.  It was a great day aside from it being over 100 degrees in October.  Arizona is just so strange this time of year!  It doesn’t seem to realize that it’s actually supposed to be fall in October and not summertime anymore.  Lucky for us, Jessica & Terence were such a fun laid back couple and they managed to have a great day in spite of the higher than average temperatures!

(Please sign the guestbook if you’d like to be notified when the rest of their photos are available online.)

The day began at the church where the bride was getting ready.  I just loved the detailing on Jessica’s beautiful dress.

The beautiful bride.  Love the flower in her hair - it served as a great splash of color in all of their photos.

One of my favorite parts of the night was their first dance.  They were both all smiles and just giggled and laughed the entire time!  It was so sweet and they looked like they were really having the time of their lives.
